Biography
Lisa M. Nommensen is an Associate of Law Office of Nooney, Roberts, Hewett & Nowicki practicing in Jacksonville, Florida. Her practice focuses primarily on auto accidents, premises liability and general negligence.
Ms. Nommensen graduated from University of Florida where she earned a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Tourism & Hospitality. She then went to earn a Juris Doctor in May 2016 from Florida Coastal School of Law. She served as secretary of the Military Law Society, she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society and she was awarded Pro Bono Honors for logging more than 250 pro bono hours during her time at Coastal. While in law school, she was a member of Florida Coastal’ s nationally ranked Moot Court Honor Board.
During her tenure at Florida Coastal, Ms. Nommensen interned for the United States Attorney, Jacksonville Division under the mentorship of Rodney Brown, AUSA. She also had the distinct honor to serve as a judicial extern with the Honorable Joel B. Toomey of the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida.
While in law school, Lisa clerked for Nooney, Roberts, Hewett & Nowicki and learned the ins and outs of the firm’s practice. Her time as a law clerk triggered her enthusiasm for personal injury work and after graduating law school she began her career as a personal injury attorney representing parties in products liability, dog bites, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability cases. Daily, Ms. Nommensen represents clients and fights to help them receive compensation for their injuries.
In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family, coaching little league soccer, scuba diving in Bonaire, attending local music performances, and anything Florida Gators.
